The Tail Waggin’ Gala is still on…only this year, it will be a Virtual Event!

On the evening of September 12 at 6:45 pm, join us virtually from your home, (no party attire needed!), listen to music by graduate Steve Mireau and service dog Duke, bid on auction items and hear inspiring stories about why—especially in this time of the COVID-19 Pandemic, Helping Paws services are needed now more than ever. During the Fund-A-Need, become a Blue Coat Benefactor of the eight Dream Litter Labrador Retrievers and nine Eager Litter Golden Retrievers as they begin their training to become service dogs. Finish the event listening to well-known local musician Fred Steele.

The event is FREE! You will need to register to view the event but there is no cost. You will be able to register starting on Thursday, September 10, when the online auction opens.

6:45 pm Helping Paws graduate Steve Mireau and service dog Duke will be playing music.
7:00 pm The program begins. Hear from graduates. Meet the 17 puppies to sponsor!
7:45 pm The program concludes.
7:45-8:00 pm Fred Steele will play music.  A member of the internationally acclaimed singing family “The Steele’s”, his voice is also featured on CD’s with Prince, Mavis Staples, George Clinton, Phil Upchurch and many others. From Jazz to Gospel to R&B and more, Fred can make any event a special one to remember.

How to Register:
Registration will open on Thursday, September 10.  Put a note on your calendar; log it into your phone. We will send you an email with the event website and post social media reminders when registration and auction opens.

Our Focus:
A wonderful evening of highlighting the great work our service dogs do. We will be sponsoring the 17 new puppies that just started training, the Dream and Eager Litters.

How You Can Help:

-Tune in on Saturday night September 12th.
-Bid on some of our great auction items. Yes, we will have MANY great items! The online auction will be open beginning September 10 through 9:00 pm September 12.
-Share the information with all your friends and family. They have heard you talk about the Helping Paws Tail Waggin’ Dinner, now they can attend the virtual event for FREE wherever they live.
-No need to buy a ticket this year. Please consider donating that amount during our virtual event.
