Run, Walk or Roll
Who is ready to get outside and move? We are!
The Helping Paws Virtual 5K for Service Dogs: Run, Walk or Roll is a virtual fundraiser to get us up and moving for a great cause! Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or roll a 5K (3.1 miles) any day from Monday, May 17 to Sunday, May 23. Choose the route that works best for you. Your favorite park, around your neighborhood, even a treadmill! No matter where you live, you can participate!

Dates: Monday, May 17 – Sunday, May 23. You can avoid bad weather and pick the best day of the week in your area to walk.
Location: Wherever it works best for you, it’s virtual. Anyone can participate anywhere in the world!
With or Without a Dog: Participate with or without a dog! You can also participate with friends or family, if you feel comfortable, or on your own.
Prizes: Yes, we have daily prizes for participating, but not for fastest times. We are not keeping track of times. We will be drawing two (2) daily winners. Details on how this works below.
Spread the Word! Post a picture of you, or your dog, or you and your dog before, during or after your walk. Use the hashtag #HPVirtual5K to post to Facebook or Instagram. We will gather all the pictures using this hashtag after that week and post
them on our social sites in a video. Show you support service dog training!
Registration:
We are offering two registration tiers; each with their own benefits.
Perfect Puppy $25 – Registration at this level will give you an opportunity to be a part of the Davanni’s daily prize drawings. You will also receive an “I support Helping Paws Service Dogs” sticker (to be mailed). Most of all is your participation in this fun, healthy opportunity to support service dogs in training.
Big Dog $75 – Registration at this level will receive a swag bag. Included in this swag bag:
- Yeti Mug with Helping Paws logo embellishment -Rambler 20 oz Tumbler in Blue. (For those registering April 14 and after. Due to recent issues in the shipping industry our supplier will not be able to provide 20 oz. Yeti tumblers until June. Additional swag bag pick up and ship to dates will be communicated when available.)
- Stickers – Helping Paws Logo and “I Support Helping Paws Service Dogs.”
- Planet Fitness Swag Bag
- You will be included in Davanni’s daily prize drawings.
- Most of all is your participation in this fun, healthy opportunity to support service dogs in training.

How do Big Dog $75 participants receive their swag bag?
When registering, you will be provided two options for receiving your swag bag.
1.) Pick up in person at Helping Paws during designated times.
Friday, May 14 – 10 am – 2 pm
Monday, May 17 – 4 pm – 7 pm
Tuesday, May 25 – 10 am – 2 pm
Thursday, May 27 – 4 pm – 7 pm
Monday, May 17 – 4 pm – 7 pm

2.) Have it shipped to you for an additional fee.
How am I entered into the Davanni’s Daily Drawings?
Upon registering for the fundraiser, participants will receive a confirmation email from Helping Paws. Within this email will be a link to a Google Form asking for the participant’s name and date the 5K was completed. Whatever day (May 17-23) you choose to complete your 5K, please fill out this form within 24 hours. Helping Paws will draw two names per day from a list of participants who filled out their form from previous 24 hours. Each day, Helping Paws will award a $10 Davanni’s gift card to two (2) different participants.
