Give to the Max Day, Minnesota’s giving holiday, has become one of our favorite days of the year at Helping Paws. A day of online giving across the entire state of Minnesota. We are always overwhelmed by the generosity of our supporters on this day and we always enjoy seeing many of you at the open house we hold at our training center.

This year while we continue to operate with Covid-19 precautions, we will not be able to have our open house. We are disappointed, but want to make it up to you by offering you LIVE streaming of puppies! The live stream will take place over the noon hour and the evening of the 19th.

There is a lot of excitement this year with winning “Golden Tickets!” Give to the Max will be offering many opportunities for Golden Ticket prize grants and our good friends at Davanni’s have donated gift cards for Helping Paws to have Davanni’s Golden Tickets as well! Details on how all of this works are below.

This year for Give to the Max Day, Helping Paws is focusing on the LIFETIME OF SUPPORT we provide our service dogs. Starting with their early care for health clearances like hips, hearts and eyes and including preventative care during training. Helping Paws continues to work with graduate teams to support their needs throughout life, ensuring the paired teams are successful, even when change happens in their lives. In 2020, Helping Paws will provide ongoing support to approximately 90 graduate teams. Your donations today will affect how many dogs will be matched and placed in 2.5 years and will ensure we will provide them with a lifetime of support.

• You can win Davanni’s Golden Tickets
• You can help us win GiveMN Golden Tickets
• You are able to donate early starting November 1. (Less prize money to win November 1-18)
• Win a Davanni’s Golden Ticket for donations made to Helping Paws from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm on November 19. Each hour we will draw 2 (two) names for $10 Davanni’s gift cards. We will post winners on social sites and send the winners an email to confirm your mailing address.
• Help us win one of the $500 Golden Ticket prize grants from GiveMN that will be given away every 15 minutes on November 19.
• Help us win one of the $1,000 Golden Ticket prize grants from GiveMN that will be given away each hour on November 19.
• Or………..could this be the year one of our supporters names will be drawn for the Super-sized Golden Ticket prize grant of $10,000? Paws crossed it happens! One Super-sized Golden Ticket will be drawn just after midnight from all donations made from November 1-19.
• There will be one $500 Golden Ticket prize grant drawn at the end of each day from November 1-18. All early donations roll into our total for Give to the Max Day, November 19. As you can see, the most chances for extra prize dollars for Helping Paws happens on November 19.
