Helping Paws is excited to announce our summer event series, Dog Days of Summer, taking place each Wednesday night in July. Starting on July 10, we will be hosting a series of fun activities for the community. The events include Game Night Extravaganza on July 10th, Fur-Ever in Paint on July 17th, Paws & Pupcorn: Movie Night on July 24th, and Trivia Night on July 31st. Join us for these wonderful community events and make your summer nights memorable with Helping Paws!
Purchase tickets for just a single event or all four! And yes, there will be Helping Paws assistance dogs present!

July 10th – Game Night Extravaganza – (6:00 – 8:00 PM)
Admission: $5.00
Enjoy with your friends and family a variety of board games, play one game or more against friends and family. Enjoy some snacks and refreshments. Get tickets for games won and exchange them for prizes.
July 17th – Furever in Paint – (6:00 – 8:00 PM) -Limited to 25 people
Admission: $50.00
Includes: Painting Materials and Wine
Join us for a summer night of fun and art. With the help of a professional artist, paint a portrait of your furry friend. The day of the event you will get a blank canvas with the portrait of your dog traced in pencil with instructions on how to do the painting.
- Email a photo of your dog to katyshann@gmail.com so it can be traced on the canvas and ready for you to paint on the event day. Submit the photo no later than July 3rd.
Here are some guidelines for the photo submission:

- Take the photo at your dog’s level. This helps eliminate a lot of body part distortion.
- A close-up shot works great.
- A shot with the mouth closed, or tongue out covering the teeth, or a side profile view is easier to paint.
- Don’t worry about the background. You can leave the canvas white, or paint whatever you want for the background.
