Thank you to everyone who donated, shared, commented, liked (loved), tweeted, retweeted, stopped by and saw us, told a friend or co-worker about us or supported us in any way for Give to the Max. We raised $51,000! Thank you does not seem like enough. We are grateful you believe as strongly in our mission as we do! It means more service dogs for more people who need them.

 

Give to the Max Day is one of our favorite days of the year at Helping Paws. This year we are focusing on sponsoring the Always Litter. The 9 Labrador Retriever puppies that just went home to begin their service dog training. We are hoping you can help us reach our goal of raising $60,000! The more puppies we get into training, the more we are reducing barriers and increasing connections via service dogs. We are also hopeful THIS is our year to win Golden Ticket!
Again this year, you can stop by the Helping Paws Training Center at the below times. You will be able to meet and greet some of our Always Litter puppies, service dogs in training and some of our graduate (working) service dogs. We will also have a training class taking place at 12:00 pm and 6:30 pm. It is an open house so feel free to come and go as your schedule permits.  
We will have food donated by our good friends at Davanni’s Pizza & Hot Hoagies.
Thursday November 14

Time: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm – Light lunch and refreshments.
Time: 12:00 Watch a brief training class.
Time: 5:00 -8:00 pm – Pizza and refreshments.
Time: 6:30 pm – Watch a training class of the Time & Victory Litters.

What are all the details for Give to the Max Day?
  • It is an annual day of giving in the State of Minnesota, Thursday November 14.
  • You can also pre-schedule your gift/donation November 1-13.
  • All donations from November 1-14 go towards our total goal.
  • Each time you donate you will be entered in to win a Golden Ticket.
  • On November 14, there will be a $1,000 Golden Ticket given away every hour and a $500 Golden Ticket every 15 minutes.
  • The biggest ticket of them all is the Super-Sized Golden Ticket that is $10,00! One Super-Sized Golden Ticket will be drawn from all donations made November 1-14.

We REALLY want to win a Golden Ticket this year! Help us win our first Golden Ticket. If you are making a donation, consider breaking it into smaller denominations to give us better odds of winning a Golden Ticket. For example, $50 could be five – $10 donations.
