We have puppies on the way and we need foster homes for them!
Is being a Foster Home Trainer right for you

Volunteer foster home trainers are the heart and soul of Helping Paws.  These volunteers take puppies from our breeding program into their homes for approximately 2½ years.  Our foster home trainers attend weekly training classes at Helping Paws training facility where they learn how to teach their fostered dog the skills necessary to work as a service dog. They regularly practice the lessons they learned in class, oversee the dog's health, and socialize the puppy/dog to everyday places and situations.

Fostering a Helping Paws puppy takes commitment, compassion, and a love of dogs-no experience necessary!  It is an enriching experience for you, your family and the dog.  Your hearts will be warmed by the knowledge that you are making a tremendous difference in the life of a person with a disability.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer foster home trainer, please contact our Foster Home Coordinator at 952-988-9359 extension 64, or click here to request a foster home trainer application.
